"Jacop de Poorter, representing Master Oth, schoolmaster in Leiden’s Latin School, sues Phenne, maidservant of Lord Jan van Colenburch, Sheriff and Chief Prosecutor of Utrecht, for £ 6/2/- as specified by a contract of obligation issued by Utrecht magistrates, plus costs. On 8 August, the court, with Jacop de Poorter’s consent, granted the defendant 6 weeks to present her defence. On 27 October, the court, having examined all the evidence, upheld the plaintiff in his complaint. On 14 November, Pieter Huygenz, pewtersmith, was acknowledged as bond for the carrying out of the magistrates’ decision."
