"Heynrick van Waert, linen weaver, as father and guardian of Frans Heynricxz, sues Huych Willemsz, goldsmith, because Huych had, without reason, dismissed Frans from his position as apprentice, contrary to the specified terms of his employment. The plaintiff demands that the defendant immediately re-hire Frans on condition that Frans promise to behave obediently, or else the defendant should pay £ 6, or whatever else the court decides instead. On 27 July the case was submitted to the decision of Willem Gerytsz and Jan Willemsz, both goldsmiths, and of two other experts who were to be chosen by the plaintiff and by the defendant."
