"Jacop Cornelisz, representing Mees Doessen, butcher, sues Jan Jacopsz, coppersmith, claiming that Jan Jacopsz, together with the late Mees Jacopsz, had agreed to free the plaintiff from all debts arising from the death of Meynsgen Jacopsdr, the plaintiff’s first wife, as proven by sealed contracts.
