"Master Jan Pietersz, barber-surgeon, sues Steven Jansz, trompetter, as husband and guardian of his wife, and Jan Stevensz, his son, claiming that half a year earlier, Steven and Jan had asked him to cure Steven’s wife, Jan’s mother, which Jan Pietersz had been doing since then, besides providing salve, etc. Jan Pietersz had not been paid more than the weaving of nine els of linen; he therefore demands that the defendants pay him a fee to be set by experts, or else pay 6 Karolus guldens. The case was postponed eight days."
