"Willem Cornelisz, as father and guardian of his daughter Jacoba, with the regents of the Leiden orphanage, sues Master Frans Jacopsz, organist, as husband and guardian of his wife, Marytgen Cornelis Mast’s daughter, claiming that Frans Jacopsz has in his possession the last will and testament of the late Jan van Zeyst, medical doctor, by which Jacoba was to be given a notable legacy. Willem Cornelisz demands an authenicated copy, or else payment of 1000 gold Karolus guldens. On 15 March, the court ordered the testatment to be deposited with the magistrates, in the hands of the regents of the orphanage. If the will contained anything concerning Jacoba, a proper extract of that part was to be delivered to Willem Cornelisz."
