"Dirck van Teylingen, representing Adriaen van Sonnevelt, sues Master Cornelis Pietersz Tromper and Phillips Vranckenz, represening Rev. Melis Pietersz, priest and pastor of Bodegraven, and Jacop Jacopsz, glassmaker, together and each independently, demanding payment of 140 schilt (28 comans groot for each schilt), which Adriaen van Sonnevelt had to pay to the Grey Sisters, or Poor Clares, of Amsterdam, because of liens on his current house that were not mentioned by the pastor of Bodegraven when selling the house. The plaintiff would accept payment from either defendant, which would release the other from the obligation. The plaintiff also demanded payment of costs arising in the matter."
