"Quyryn Willemsz, representing Jacop Florysz Maes, shoemaker, sues Pieter Aelbrechtsz Tromper, shoemaker, claiming to have bought and received from Pieter 600 [quantity] of shoemaker’s grease, which turned out to be of very bad quality. The plaintiff demanded that the defendant take back the grease, or else pay £ 5, plus 5 groot for costs.
On 16 April the case was postponed eight days, awaiting evidence from the defendant."
