"Havick Meesz, pewtersmith, sues Mathys Engebrechtsz, pewtersmith, claiming that Mathys had given Havick or his wife a quarter share of pewter-making equipment and molds, as documented by a contract of obligation, and that Mathys had subsequently sold some of the molds to someone outside Leiden and had rented others out, without knowledge or consent of Havick. Havick demands the items be returned and the rental arrangements cancelled, or that Mathys pay him damages to be determined by experts, or pay 300 Karolus gulden. On 9 April, the court ordered Havick to provide Mathys with a copy of the obligation contract within the next eight days."
