After this visit, the brothers returned to the Oudemannenhuis to see the regents room. Uffenbach describes the room. He comments on the painting of Caritas by Van der Werff and informs us that it was valued at 1600 guilders (Uffenbach does not agree). Uffenbach prefers the other painting: a group portrait of the regents." ;
