Uffenbach comments on the epitaphs mentioned in 'Voyages historiques de l'Europe' (V, p. 226) as not that special. Of the four, he could not find the ones of Jean de Liefde [Johan de Liefde] and Lambert Mois [Mooy Lambert]. The ones of Cornelius de Witt [Witte Corneliszoon de With] and Cortenaer [Egbert Bartolomeusz Kortenaer] are small and made of bad marble and alabaster. In the afternoon they visit the Magazijn mentioned by Misson [RKDexcerpt no. 774991]. Uffenbach mentions a recent fire and the fact that strangers are not allowed to enter. Misson had praised the bank building as well; this puzzles Uffenbach since the bank is located under the Stadhuis. The brothers inquire about the glass-making factory, likewise mentioned by Misson." ;
